DESIGN A BRIDGE TO CONNECT TWO OF THE V&A'S LISTED BUILDINGS.
Concept: In transition.
The bridge is a space between spaces, with people using it being 'in transition'. The glass bridge mimics the environment surrounding it, so that from certain angles it appears not to exist. Once people walk through the bridge, parts of the glass becomes transparent so that people appear to be hovering. Essentially a fire escape, users of the bridge are reassured by being inside a 'void', and guided to a light at the end of the tunnel.
